CRP field trip to Cleveland

OURS.jpg

As part of their curriculum, The Organization of Urban & Regional Studies students trek out beyond campus to observe the dynamics of a city.  This month, students from OURS will be visiting Cleveland to explore the city and meet with planners and professionals.

  • OURS is a student-run club for undergraduate Urban and Regional Studies students, as well as a few others throughout the university who are interested in city planning and urban issues.
  • The group will consist of 25 undergraduate students and Professor Franz
  • The purpose of our trip is to give students a hands-on opportunity to learn about urban issues. We are in the process of scheduling engagements with various community leaders, planning professionals, folks in local government, etc. to learn about Cleveland. We will also be doing some sightseeing (West Side Market, Art Museum, Severance Hall, etc.)
