Multiple opportunities for Cornellians to volunteer in your community
“Cornell Cares Day is a worldwide student-alumni service event that connects Cornellians to serve in their local community through direct, hands-on service projects as they swap stories and network.'“
The Cornell Public Service Center (psc.cornell.edu) has declared January 5, 2019 as the official Cornell Cares Day. The plan for the CCNEO, as it has been for the past 3 years, is to partner with multiple non-profit organizations to provide a broad Cornell presence in the community, and to avoid scheduling conflicts for area alumni and current students who would like to participate in Cornell Cares Day in Cleveland.
Your three opportunities to participate with CCNEO are:
Saturday, 01/05/2019: 8:00 am to noon at the Cleveland Food Bank; 15500 S Waterloo Rd., Cleveland
Sunday, 01/06/2019: 9:30 am to 11:00 am at The Kosher Food Pantry, 2004 S Green Rd, South Euclid
Saturday, 01/12/2019: 9:30 am to noon at St. Vincent de Paul at the Ozanam Center, 13824 Euclid Ave., East Cleveland
John Burke is our CCNEO Cornell Cares Day Coordinator. If you would like to participate please email John and let him know at which event you will be volunteering.
